Two-step is the top channel to market for wood alternative decking suppliers, carrying 42% of all decking and 86% of wood alternative decking.
The Northeast, the smallest region in terms of area, is significant because of its outsized demand for decking and particularly for wood alternative decking. As a result, two-steppers have concentrated their presence in this region. With only 6% of land area, the Northeast represents 22% of all decking demand. Fifty percent of decking in the Northeast is wood alternative decking and 15% of all two-step locations can be found in the Northeast.
